My dear friends, family, and supporters,

It was an absolutely stunning springtime day as we breast cancer survivors marched out onto the podium looking out at the sea of over five thousand supporters. But let me tell you why the race was so extra special this year.  Mom decided to join our team and she walked THE WHOLE 3 MILES  — with joy in each and every step!!!

Together we raised $2800, surpassing last year’s total by 27%, for a total of over $6500 over the last 3 years – thanks to all of you.   To top it off and because of your generosity, I was able to provide an additional $1000 to help FORCE with its focus on the hereditary aspect of breast and ovarian cancer.

A Glorious Day!

All in all, it was a blast – a joy from beginning to end, with proof in the attached photo montage.  Thanks to my family – Steve, Jen, and Carrie, to Yve Cohen, and to new members Wendy Mayer (loving cousin) and of course Mom, for being such great team players and walking with me.

Thank you to all of you for caring about me and for your continued and enduring support as I make this journey.  And ever so importantly, thank you for helping me in the fight to end breast and ovarian cancer forever!  I am so blessed.

With much gratitude,

Laurie

At the finish!

P.S. It’s not too late to make our success even grander, simply donate here.
